SHOTOVER Flight Test & Demonstration Aircraft
A Flying Platform for the next Imaging Challenge
N208CN - SHOTOVER flight test & demonstration aircraft
N208CN is SHOTOVER’s Cessna Grand Caravan EX, equipped for airborne imaging, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), and the development of integrated mission systems.
It brings stabilized cameras, mission management, operator workstations and connectivity together in a real flight environment—helping our engineers and customers evaluate the complete imaging workflow.

Flexible external sensor configurations
Connected imaging
Remote viewing and sensor control
Built to develop, integrate and demonstrate
Developed for ISR research and development and the integration of mission equipment, N208CN supports SHOTOVER’s ongoing flight testing of stabilized imaging systems. It also gives customers and technology partners a practical way to experience airborne sensors and mission software together.
Stabilized EO/IR Imaging
N208CN is used to test and demonstrate a wide variety of electro-optical and infrared camera systems as well as radars, radios, and other mission equipment.
Flexible Payload Integration
Four external hardpoints provide options for carrying camera systems and other mission sensors. Configurations can support multiple gimbals, allowing imaging systems to be evaluated on the same aircraft. Payload selection and installation are defined around each project.
Mission Management in the Cabin
Onboard operator workstations bring imagery and mapping into the same working environment. AIRSCAPE augmented reality mapping and mission management support demonstrations of the relationship between the camera view, geographic context and operator workflow.
Remote Viewing & Sensor Control
Starlink and other datalink configurations support remote viewing and control of the aircraft’s mission sensors. This enables evaluation of connected imaging workflows that extend beyond the onboard operator stations.

From the engineering bench to flight
N208CN helps connect payload development with airborne evaluation. SHOTOVER uses the aircraft for camera testing, mission-equipment integration and customer demonstrations, with the sensor fit and test objectives tailored to the work being undertaken.
For customers exploring a new imaging capability, a demonstration can bring the gimbal, operator interface, mapping and data connection together—making it easier to assess how the complete system fits the intended mission.
