SHOTOVER ION 2
The ION 2 is a compact, rugged, and reliable geospatial video recorder purpose-built for airborne and rugged operations. It supports simultaneous recording of four HD-SDI video channels, along with audio and KLV or other metadata and has multiple HD-SDI outputs. With real-time H.264/H.265 recording and playback, ION 2 ensures consistent, high-quality capture of mission-critical video and data. The front panel includes intuitive controls, a built-in screen for menu navigation and video review, and convenient front-access SD and USB ports for direct recording.
It's much more than a DVR, however -- with ARINC 429, RS-232 and RS-422, Ethernet, and other ports available, it can control radios or other mission equipment through Python scripts you write or perform encoding/decoding/transcoding and streaming over multiple protocols using Starlink, Cellular, or Ad-Hoc mesh networks such as those from Silvus and Persistent Systems.

Know where your video was recorded: Capture KLV MISB/STANAG 4609 compliant metadata delivered over VANC, HANC, UARTs or Ethernet. Files are compatible with ESRI FMV plugin and much more.
