Variety takes flight with SHOTOVER's team of Alan Purwin and David Nowell to get an inside look at how they capture stunning images for some of today's biggest action films.

A culmination of footage from all over the world highlighting the versatility of both systems. SHOTOVER F1 and K1 feature a groundbreaking modular design that enables operators to utilize multiple camera and lens combinations depending on their needs.

The SHOTOVER K1 was used for aerials on the BMW i3 commercial in downtown Chicago. "The K1 worked great! 75% of the shot was looking straight down as we were flying in between the buildings.. it never missed a beat." Says Michael Franck of Helimotion.

The system’s modular design provides unparalleled versatility for both 2D and 3D shooting, accommodating cameras such as the Red Epic and Dragon, Arri Alexa (all models), Phantom Flex4K, Canon C500, Sony F55 and F65 along with a broad range of lenses.
