Company Utilizes New System for Albuquerque International Balloon Festival
The Albuquerque International Balloon Festival has been an event that has entertained and left attendees awestruck for the past 44 years. The 2016 festival is no exception and will be seen in a whole new way with the help of Vertical Limit Aviation and the SHOTOVER F1.
Serving the needs of a diverse client base, Vertical Limit Aviation will use their new camera system for assignments including aerial cinematography, live event coverage, and commercial film production.
The company is providing live aerial shots from the F1 throughout the 2016 Albuquerque International Balloon Festival for KOB Eyewitness News 4 in New Mexico.
An experienced aerial cinematographer and SAG-AFTRA pilot, Doug Christian comments “Even at full zoom, the SHOTOVER F1 provides unmatched stability and makes it possible for my team to get the high quality shots I know would be tough, or even impossible, to achieve if we were using any other system.
The open platform of the F1, like all SHOTOVER systems, is designed to be able to accommodate new cameras and lenses as they come to market. This feature makes the SHOTOVER F1 future proof, so that users are not locked into one specific camera and lens package.
Following the balloon festival, Doug Christian and Vertical Limit Aviation will continue to utilize the SHOTOVER F1 with KOB Eyewitness News 4 to provide coverage throughout the area.
Vertical Limit Aviation (Vertical Limit, LLC.) is locally owned and operated in Albuquerque, New Mexico and specializes in flying in high density altitude conditions.
