Beijing CTVV Adds SHOTOVER M1 to Fleet of Equipment for Large-Scale Broadcasts

SHOTOVER is proud to announce that Beijing CTVV has added the SHOTOVER M1 to their equipment offerings for large-scale broadcast productions. The addition of the SHOTOVER M1 comes after Beijing CTVV has had much success using the SHOTOVER F1 to cover live broadcast events.

“What impressed me most about the M1 is that it is so compact, its weight and volume is greatly reduced compared to other systems on the market,” said Mr. Liu Jie of Beijing CTVV. “Despite not previously working with the SHOTOVER M1, we mastered it over a few days with a simple installation and online technical training from the SHOTOVER service and support team.”

In celebration of China’s National Day on October 1, 2020, the Beijing CTVV team utilized the M1 paired with an Alexa Mini LF camera and Fujinon 28-100 lens, to capture live aerials of the high-speed rail in Qiandao Lake, Zhejiang Province, China over the span of four days.

“The installation, testing and shooting were all very smooth,” stated Mr. Liu. “The combination of the M1 and ARRI camera perfectly showed the beautiful scenery around the high-speed rail line and throughout the shoot, the M1 was reliable, easy to operate and even easier to transport between locations.”

The company intends to continue putting the M1 to work for upcoming broadcast projects and is highly anticipating their next shoot with the system.
