LOS ANGELES (September 25, 2017) – SHOTOVER, the manufacturer of high-performance stabilization platforms, announced today the sale of a SHOTOVER F1 camera platform to world-renowned aerial photographer, Antoine Rose. Known for pushing the boundaries of still photography, Antoine will utilize the SHOTOVER F1 with a payload that features dual Phase One iXU 1000 aerial cameras for larger format photography, delivering pristine clarity and ultimate resolution. The integration (based on IGI DigiCAM components) was substantially supported by the high-end engineering work from the German geospatial company IGI (Integrated Geospatial Innovations).

Antoine, a self-taught artist, has worked with a multitude of top international brands, traveling across the world to capture stunning images that have been commissioned for global advertising campaigns. His clients include the New York Museum of Art and Design, Tiffany & Co., LVMH, and the Atlanta Falcons.

“I have spent several years researching stabilization equipment, and the SHOTOVER F1 camera system stood out due to its perfect horizon, flexibility and superior 6-axis stabilization, allowing me to focus on getting the shot,” said Antoine Rose. “The integrated solution from IGI with the Phase One Industrial 100MP sensors deliver phenomenal images with unsurpassed clarity.”

SHOTOVER continues to be chosen by the world’s top artists, broadcasters, and production companies. Including SHOTOVER’s recent selection by top European aerial production company Samcam Film and news broadcaster KABC, the most watched television station in Southern California. The company has also partnered with top international sports management, marketing, and media company Dorna Sports, the exclusive commercial and television rights holder for the FIM MotoGP World Championship Grand Prix.

“The F1’s open platform design and unique integration capability allows for the flexibility Antoine requires to achieve his artistic vision,” said SHOTOVER CEO, Brad Hurndell. “We are honored to have been selected by Antoine and look forward to seeing the masterpieces he creates with the system.”

Philipp Grimm, CEO of IGI said, “The IGI systems have been proven in challenging environments around the world for the last four decades. Working together with Phase One Industrial and SHOTOVER makes it a smart solution, which supports Antoine perfectly for his projects. Beyond the photography field, this solution will break down the cost of different geospatial applications!”

“The integration of Phase One Industrial high definition, 100MP medium format aerial cameras within SHOTOVER solutions, illustrates how our customers can achieve an unprecedented combination of stability and outstanding image quality,” added Steve Cooper, Vice President of Sales for Phase One Industrial. “These solutions enable challenging surveying or movie projects where a very flexible and vibration-free gimbal is required.”
