ION 2 provides airborne law enforcement with a flexible, high-definition geospatial video recorder packaged into a compact and easy to use unit. Weather Radar
ION lets you maximize the panel-space in your cockpit by doing things that other recorders cannot. Connect ION to an airborne pulse Doppler weather radar system (ARINC 708) and turn any cockpit display into a situational awareness enhancing moving map with airborne radar overlays. Weather radar overlays function independently from ION’s capability to simultaneously record multiple channels of HD geospatial video to low-cost USB or SD removable media, so you can do more with less equipment.
Integration with ARINC 708 dataset airborne weather radar systems including those from Bendix King, Rockwell Collins, and Garmin.
Custom, zoomable moving maps with radar overlay.
