SHOWCASE YOUR HOMETOWN FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN A TRIP TO QUEENSTOWN NEW ZEALAND TO SHOOT WITH THE SHOTOVER F1 AND G1

Whether it be in the air, by land or sea, this is the chance for you to showcase your hometown to win a trip for you and a fellow filmmaker to visit ours! From January 18th to April 1st, 2019, create and submit a 1-3 minute video highlighting your hometown and all it has to offer, as well as your filmmaking background for the opportunity to win roundtrip airfare and accommodations to Queenstown, New Zealand!

  1. Shoot a 1-3 minute video showcasing YOUR hometown and telling us a bit about your filmmaking background
  2. Upload the full video on the contest entry page by using the link below
  3. Once your video has been submitted, upload a 15 to 60 second trailer to your Instagram (be sure it is public so we can see it!) using the hashtag #SHOTOVERgetaway and tagging @shotovercamera.

Fred North

Specializing in the film industry for more than 30 years, Fred North is an expert in aerial cinematography, having accumulated over 15,000 hours shooting feature films and commercials, and more than 18,000 total flying hours. He has worked with such acclaimed directors as Michael Bay, Peter Berg, Justin Lin, David Leitch, JJ Abrahams, Sam Mendes, Stefano Sollima, and Shawn Levy. www.fred-north.com

Vincent Laforet

Laforet is among the most influential pioneers working in contemporary photography and film today with his unique commercials for such well-known brands as Apple, Nike, General Electric, Canon, and many more, as well as his groundbreaking photography for magazines such as National Geographic, Vanity Fair, and Sports Illustrated. Bryan Moore

In 2012, Moore began shooting video of various off-road races and in 2013, he started filming with BJ Baldwin, and met his business partners at Tempt Media. Moore, along with Tempt Media, then created RECOIL 1 and in the same year, released a documentary on the Baja 1000. Chris Grubisa

Bertie Gregory

Bertie Gregory is a wildlife filmmaker, photographer and National Geographic host. In July 2014, Bertie graduated in Zoology with First Class Honors from the University of Bristol and the next day, was on a plane to begin assisting Steve Winter in South Africa on assignment for National Geographic. Since then he was named a National Geographic Young Explorer and has shot three 1hr specials for Nat Geo WILD covering the city leopards of Mumbai, the caiman hunting jaguars of Brazil and the incredible comeback of South Georgia Island.
